McDonald's employee arrested for too much salt on burger

Kendra BullYes, you read that right. A McDonald's employee, Kendra Bull, in Union City, Georgia was arrested after a local cop claimed he became ill from an extra salty Big N' Tasty.

Bull told cops she accidentally put too much salt and pepper on the hamburger, but since managers had been concerned about waste, she "had gone ahead and used the hamburger."

Bull, 20, said she accidentally spilled salt on hamburger meat and told her supervisor and a co-worker, who "tried to thump the salt off."

On her break, she ate a burger made with the salty meat. "It didn't make me sick," Bull told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

You can read the arrest report at The Smoking Gun.

I think the arrest is stupid but I too have been subjected to way too much salt on McDonald's burgers. I think their cheese has a high salt content to begin with as well.

why does the city employ morons for cops? if it's too salty. BRING IT BACK. LOSER. hope he/she loses their badge. maybe this will be an incentive for them to go to college like most decent people.

1. How does one get arrested outside of reasonable suspicion.

The officer stated the burger was covered in "what appeared to be too much salt and pepper." and "Appeared to be dumped on the burger on purpose."

How does an act or behavior "appear to be a crime" If a person is involved in behavior that clearly violates a statute, then you arrest. A person should not have to be subject to the tyranny of a cop having a bad day and levying false charges.

2. The police report shows no witnesses to add "salt" to his claim of perception. Therefore, the girl was arrested on an opinion and not a matter of fact.

3. To add insult to injury, this embodiment of incompetence took the burger to a lab to have it examined for something, anything. IF something was found, what is to say it wasn't from the plant and not her hands.(Causation)

This girl made a bad choice because she didn't want to hear her manager's gripes about wasting food...Now, anyone that has been in fast food knows that many of those managers take the "waist" issue too seriously.

Karma is a *#$@!, so he will reap what he sowed.
