Raw chicken at Wendy's

I recently related Susie Felber's experience of getting a raw McChicken sandwich at McDonald's. Now I've found this video of another customer's similar experience at Wendy's. The customer shows the "Spicy Chicken Sandwich" that he ordered at Wendy's and part of it does appear to be raw.

I had that spicy chicken concoction for a story I worked on that you can read here: http://www.beepcentral.com/story.aspx?story=14311

It was a good sandwich, but if I ever bit into anything raw there, I would probably swear off fast food for life.

So gross.

I do admit that is very discusting and I hope you brought that burger back to the restaurant and not only got your money back, but talked to the managers.
I work at a Wendy's and that I can safely say has never happened in the years I have worked there. Those burgers are deep-fried for a certain amount of time to MAKE SURE that never happens. That restaurant made a mistake, and the whole Wendy's corruption shouldnt be exploited because of they're stupidity.
Clearly, some restaurants are sick; but the store I work at is very clean and sanitary and I hate the fact people think all Wendy's are nasty because of certain restaurants stupidity.
Don't boy cot the store because of them...but yes, maybe that particular one haha!

your greedy ass was half way through before you realized it was raw? Try LOOKING at your food when you eat it next time.

The same thing happened to me yesterday on TWO separate sandwiches! We took it back up there and they tried to give us a refund for the sandwich only and not the full combo! We obviously raised cane and got a full refund; however, when it comes to poisoning customers, a full refund is not enough! I have sworn off Wendy's for life! If they can't find good enough people who aren't too lazy to let a burger sit on the cooker, then that's pretty sad...

In mid-August 2007, at least two raw chicken sandwiches were served within 5 minutes to two different parties frow two different states at a Wendy's in Southwest Georgia. When we showed the raw chicken to the staff behind the counter some of the line staff made jokes about the raw chicken sandwiches and did not apologize or show any remorse for undercooking the chicken. One despicable employee kept asking if we were going to sue, because he would sue if he were us (as he joked and carried on about the raw chicken). I should have stuck my camera in his ugly face. Thank goodness there were witnesses sitting in the dinning room who came forward. Several reports were received by the health department in this county. After all of the lab reports and investigations are concluded, I will post more details (at least one elementary age child is involved).

Dear Wendy's employee,
I admire your loyalty. I grew up in the area of Dublin, Ohio where Wendy's is headquartered and have been a loyal customer for years. HOWEVER, last week I too was served a RAW chicken sandwich...unfortunately this site won't let me post the picture, but I'd be happy to email it to anyone that wants to see it. It makes the one above look like it's been OVERcooked! Neither the restaurant or corporate headquarters is responding to my complaint! Perhaps it's time to take a closer look at company ethics. Dave Thomas would flip over in his grave if he knew how things were being (or not being) handled.

I ordered the same sandwich on 01/20/2008 from an Orlando Fl wendy's and this happend to me as well. I took a bite and noticed it was uncooked. I returned the sandwich and made a formal complaint. Im happy I noticed it before it was too late.

My fiance and I just ordered 2 spicy chicken sandwiches from the Durango, CO Wendy's. I was driving and he ate half of his sandwich before noticing, (b/c it was dark) that it was almost entirely RAW! We got a full refund and I wrote an informal incident report that the mgr. on duty signed and they kept the original and gave us a copy. He obviously was immediately feeling sick, but they said he would not know until tomorrow if he has salmonella. Is there anything he can do?

Same thing just happened to me today at lunch in Georgetown Texas, chicken sandwhich from Wendy's. I didn't notice either till half way through since I had it covered with ranch.

I took it back and demanded my money back, they gave me my money but also wanted the sandwhich, told them I was going to keep it.....incase I get really sick. Anyway, I am done with Wendy's!!!!

Think I might need to barf.....stomach feels blah!

I was just served a raw spicy chicken sandwich from the wendy's in Odessa, Texas (JBS Parkway location). I'm disgusted! I started researching food poisoning... I'm worried. I plan on contacting the manager and or owner tomorrow, as it is past closing now. Can anything be done to teach these people, or this company a lesson? I can't believe that this happens so often!

I got violently ill off of some Wendy's spicy buffalo wings. It was terrible, both ends, all night. Unless you want to go on the "I lost 8 pounds overnight" diet, stay away from Wendy's! I will never go to a Wendy's ever again.

I just recently ordered a asiago chicken ranch club from wendys, I began to eat the sandwich and when I get to the middle it is rubbery an pink. It was definitely under cooked. I took it back and they gave me another sandwich instead of the refund I asked for. I threw away the new sandwich and moved on with my day. Within a couple of hours I start vomiting and having huge stomach pains. I go to the ER and sure enough I have samonella poisoning.. Thanks Wendy's..
